The SoftForm bra from Honeylove is designed with the holy trinity in mind: comfort, support, and actually looking good. It’s the kind of bra you’ll forget you’re even wearing as the hours pass by, which is saying a lot coming from someone who’s ripped a bra off while waiting at a stoplight on her way home from work.
That’s what makes this an especially great option on your wedding day, if your gown’s neckline allows it. When you consider that you’ll be “trapped” in your gown for up to 12 hours or longer by the time the reception is over, comfort is paramount.
The SoftForm bra from Honeylove is perfect if you:
- Prefer the pullover style and support of a wireless sports bra
- Need a seamless full-coverage bra beneath your wedding dress or formal wear
- Want to prevent sideboob or spillage along the sides
- Need back-smoothing if that’s a typical problem area for you
- Don’t want to shop for a bra in a physical store
Being full-coverage with wider straps at the shoulder, this particular bra won’t pair with every bodice and neckline style, so it’s important to consider that first.
The SoftForm bra from Honeylove works best with wedding dresses that have a:
- Scoop neck
- High neck
- V-neck (if not low-cut)
- Square neck
That said, even if you’re looking for a daily-wear bra that offers the comfort of a sports bra with shapewear-level smoothing, the SoftForm is my new fave, and I’ll tell you why.
My Experience Shopping For Bras At Honeylove

Bra shopping is not my favorite activity. In fact, it’s something I try to do as infrequently as humanly possible because most of the time, it requires hours of in-person shopping. Usually at the mall. It’s basically torture, at least for me.
(I’m sure many of you can relate.)
Honeylove makes bra shopping online incredibly easy, since they have extensive guides and every product page has a “Find My Size” quizlet that assists you in finding the perfect size based on the information and measurements you provide.

Not only that, but there’s a 30-day free returns and exchange policy in place so if you do happen to get it wrong, it’s easily remedied. That isn’t hyperbole; I had to make an exchange once because of my own error, and it was a breeze, although I recommend ordering directly from Honeylove’s site to ensure the fastest processing of returns or exchanges.
The fact that I can shop for bras from the comfort of home, confidently, has been a game-changer.
There are several shipping options available at Honeylove, but even the basic free shipping (on orders over $100) is quick, at least where I live. My order arrived within five business days.
How HoneyLove’s SoftForm Bra Fits, Feels, And Looks

The SoftForm bra from Honeylove is what I consider to be a cross between a sports bra and a “regular” bra. The design features a pullover style with wide (and ridiculously comfortable) straps similar to a typical sports bra, but with the shaping and smoothing of Honeylove’s traditional bras.
It’s like having the best of both worlds, if you ask me.

A bonded cradle provides lift and support in place of an underwire, and it’s effective even on larger, heavy breasts like mine. Coupled with the subtle boning at the sides of each cup, the SoftForm creates a natural shape beneath clothing, whether formal wear, casual, or anywhere in between.

One thing I really love about this bra is the smoothing it provides in the back. The SoftForm is designed to be completely seamless beneath clothing, and in my experience, it truly is. Thanks to the cut, the super soft material, and the lack of hook-and-eye closure along the band, this bra basically disappears under even tight clothing, becoming almost like a second skin.

Without closure on the band and having no slider on the straps, nothing on this particular bra is adjustable in any way. It’s a wear-as-it-comes style, and I advise using the “Find My Size” quizlet on the product page if you’re at all unsure about the size you should be ordering.
One thing to note is that while you’ll select your bra size based on a band and cup measurement when you place your order, the SoftForm is sized more generally, so when it’s added to your cart (and arrives on your doorstep), the tag will have a size listed like “XL” or “L,” rather than a number (band) and letter (cup).

For instance, I wear a 38G; the recommended SoftForm size I got is an XL, pictured above, which fits perfectly as it includes the sister sizes of 38G. I felt this was important to mention so if you order a 36C and get an “L” in the mail, or order a 32B and receive an “S,” you won’t be surprised and you’ll know the size is correct.
This bra is beyond comfortable for all-day wear and, unlike sports bras, I don’t end up with the dreaded “uniboob” while wearing it.

What’s really great about the SoftForm is that it’s also pretty cute on its own… I can wear it as a top around the house or even in the yard (I’m not brave enough to wear it out in public beyond that), and it’s fantastic for layering with tank tops or worn beneath any of my loose t-shirts since I cut the necks wide and wear them one-shouldered.
(I’m a child of the 80s. Some styles never go out of style, amirite?)

The color I’m wearing in these photos is Fig, which is a pretty maroon that not only makes me think of the Taylor Swift song (one of my faves), but makes me want to show off the straps whenever I have the opportunity. I can’t say that about most of my other over-the-shoulder boulder holders.
Honeylove SoftForm Vs. CrossOver Bra

If you absolutely need a bra with sliders on the straps and an adjustable band, the CrossOver may be a better choice, since it offers both, and the SoftForm offers neither. The CrossOver provides the same anti-sideboob cup coverage and back-fat smoothing as the SoftForm, although it’s not quite as seamless beneath clothing because of the sliders and hooks, in my experience.
The CrossOver is also available in a deeper V-neck cut for gowns that need a little less coverage in the front, which the SoftForm may not accommodate as well.
The SoftForm bra from Honeylove may not change your life in a spiritual-awakening kind of way, but if not yanking at your straps every five minutes is your version of heaven, then yeah, it’s pretty close.
Pros And Cons Of The Honeylove SoftForm Bra

Honeylove’s SoftForm Bra is amazing and ridiculously comfortable, but it’s not going to be absolutely perfect for every situation or personal need.
SoftForm Bra Pros
- It offers comfortable support and full coverage without an underwire.
- The design along the sides of the cups and beneath your underarms prevents spillage and sideboob, while the smoothing design of the back minimizes lumps and bumps if you struggle with “back fat.”
- The cups feature thin molded padding for optimal shaping, but this can easily be removed if you prefer.
- It’s available in some cute fashion colors like Fig (maroon, which is what I’m wearing in the pictures), Aubergine (deep purple), and Iris (blue), along with your typical “standards” like black, white, and beige.
- Shopping and purchasing online directly through Honeylove means you can exchange or return easily if need be, and it’s free for 30 days within the US.
SoftForm Bra Cons
- It can be a little tricky to get into if your skin is damp from showering or sweating, since it gets pulled on over your head and has no hook-and-eye closure.
- There is no way to adjust the shoulder straps or the band around your ribcage; this is a wear-as-it-comes bra.
- There are a limited number of color options for “skin tone” matching under white or ivory dresses.
- It’s full-coverage, so it can’t accommodate every gown’s bodice or neckline.
Closing Thoughts
At the end of the day (and especially the end of your Big Day), comfort is non-negotiable. The SoftForm bra from Honeylove delivers whether you’re walking down the aisle, heading into a long workday, running errands all over town, or just relaxing at home.
It offers smoothing support with absolute seamlessness that never draws attention. The SoftForm bra is thoughtfully designed, easy to wear, and genuinely feels so good against your skin, it’s quickly become my new favorite!
